About the workplace
Tellusgatan is located in Ödåkra and is a permanent residence, according to LSS § 9:8, for children and young people with extensive disabilities who need special services. Here, children with permanent disabilities, primarily autism and in some cases also intellectual disabilities, receive the support and care they need to live a good life.

Job responsibilities
As a support pedagogue, you play a key role in creating structure and participation in the children's daily lives. Through your in-depth competence, you strengthen the pedagogical approach and adherence to methods within the workgroup. You drive quality development on behalf of the unit manager and actively work for the individual’s participation and influence.
You work both pedagogically and practically, contributing to a safe, predictable, and stimulating environment where each child can develop based on their own terms. You will be part of a team that requires knowledge and experience of different disabilities as the needs vary regarding the type of help and support our children and young people require.
You contribute to pedagogical improvement work, collegial learning, and collaborate with colleagues, management, relatives, and external actors such as schools and habilitation. Together with colleagues, you plan, implement, and follow up on pedagogical interventions and ensure the children's care needs. The work also includes documenting, observing, and evaluating the children's development and needs.
All work is based on the intentions of the LSS legislation and focuses on children's rights perspective.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who, in addition to basic education, has a post-secondary education, qualified vocational training, higher vocational education, or university education with a specialization in the disability field corresponding to 200 YH points or 60 university credits.
To proceed in the process, you also need to have knowledge/experience of:
- pedagogical development and improvement work within the framework of LSS
- working with children and young people with autism, within e.g. LSS, school, or leisure
- challenging behavior and clarification working methodology
Furthermore, you need to have good computer skills and documentation habits as well as a B driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have experience with AAC/TAAC and Studio 3.
